Summer League
WCNL has a very active summer league 2024..
It is made up of 6 divisions from Premier through to Division 5. We play at various locations across Worcestershire on either a Monday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings. Games start at either 7.00pm or 8.15pm, all other divisions are to start promptly at 7pm.
Entry forms for the summer league are sent to all teams in January each year by Sarah, Fixtures Secretary. If you are interested in entering a team for the first time and want to contact Sarah please email her Fixtures Secretary
Each team is to supply an umpire for their games, for the summer league 2024 there will be neutral umpires. Teams should turn up to play on a court and the umpire should stand in the centre circle facing Worcester Cathedral and move to the right hand court.
Result sheets - must be completed and signed by both umpires and both teams. It is the responsibility of teams to pick a 'player of the match' for both teams at the end of each game. Once completed, result sheets must be sent to Sarah within 3 days of the game. A picture of the result sheet can be emailed to Sarah on the email address above, alternatively you can send a picture to Sarah via Whatsapp - 07704 049168.
Summer League Stewart Vernalls Tournament will be played on Wednesday 19th June 2024.
